Features include a high density chassis and a unique cable management tray. The rugged metal modules are available in all split ratios from 50/50 to 90/10. Any mix of up to 24 modules is supported, with the industry’s broadest array of topology options – from 1G to 100G – including LC and MTP connectors, 100GBaseSR4, Cisco BiDi, and 100GBaseLR4 DeMux.
The VERSAstream™ family of Network Packet Brokers are an ideal alternative to costly chassis based high density systems. Compact design allows two units to fit into a single 1U rack space. 4 to 8 any-to-any ports support 1G/10G copper* and fiber – optimal for low density requirements in the DMZ, network perimeter, and smaller Independent Data Facilities. Session based load balancing and hardware based L2 to L4 filtering allow failover paths to tools, and the ability to reduce tool oversubscription risk.

The flexible and powerful DURAstream Bypass Switches are an optimal solution for providing in-line tool protection in the 10G environment. Available to support a single network link with one or two tools, or two network links with two tools (ideal for High Availability installations.) The unique LINKprotect feature triggers an optical bypass mode if the DURAstream loses power. User configurable heartbeats provide a range of options for how the bypass switch responds to and recovers from in-line tool failure or slow throughput.
SINGLEstream 10G aggregation taps provide non-intrusive passive access for 1G or 10G tools in any 10G environment. Single or dual link tapping is supported, with 2 or 4 monitor ports. Hardware based L2 to L4 filtering enables 1G tools to be used on 10G links, with reduced risk of oversubscription.
