Networking Veteran Chris Koeneman Joins Datacom Systems as Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Leveraging Worldwide Experience, Koeneman Set to Expand Channel Sales, Establish International Presence, and Raise Market Profile
EAST SYRACUSE, N.Y., July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Datacom Systems Inc., a leading network access device manufacturer, today announced that Chris Koeneman has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The seasoned networking industry executive and global sales veteran is expected to bring valued experience and industry relationships to Datacom Systems, helping to expand its presence in North America and launch operations overseas.
Koeneman joins Datacom Systems from Redline Communications of Markham, Ontario, a mid-sized WiMAX and broadband wireless infrastructure company, where he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales. In his position Koeneman significantly improved revenues for the company worldwide, exceeded company revenue targets, and developed the launch strategy for Redline's WiMAX 802.16e system.
Prior to his time at Redline Communications, Koeneman served as VP of Worldwide Sales for Colubris, a venture-backed Wi-Fi company that was acquired by HP. He also served in similar roles for two innovative routing companies, Avici Systems and Celox Networks. Chris started his career in data networking with Cisco Systems where he served as Director of Service Provider Sales in EMEA as well as roles in North America.
